NEET PG Counselling 2024_20 Dec. 2024 Update
In its recent notification dated 17/12/2024, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has allowed the registered NEET PG 2024 counselling candidates to resign round 1 and 2 seats if they want to.
Responding to queries raised with the Committee, the competent authority decided to allow candidates till December 26 up to 6 pm to resign from round one and two seats.
The Committee also issued certain guidelines for resigning the allotted seats.
Newly allotted candidates of the NEET PG 2024 counselling round-2 who joined their seat but now want to resign can vacate their seat with forfeiture of the security deposit may do so within the stipulated time of resignation.
The candidates should take note of following instructions w.r.t Resignation:

Candidates who got upgraded in Round-2, joined the upgraded seat but now want to resign from their seat can vacate
their seat with forfeiture of security deposit within stipulated time of resignation.
Candidates will have to report physically at the allotted college to resign their seat.
Candidates are advised to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online (through portal provided by MCC) by the allotted college, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
NEET PG Counselling 2024_12 Dec. 2024 Update
NEET PG counselling 2024 round 2 seat allotment results are out online today.
The allotment PDF link will be available on the official website – mcc.nic.in.
NEET PG 2024 counselling round-2 provisional result has been announced on December 12, 2024.
As per the notification, any discrepancy in the provisional result can be reported to MCC till 12 pm of December 13, 2024.
Those allotted seats in round-2 counselling for NEET PG 2024 will have to report for document verification.
Reporting at the institute will begin on December 13, 2024.
The last date for round-2 reporting is December 20, 2024.
A total of 25,791 seats will be allocated through counselling.
Revised seat matrix is now available at mcc.nic.in.
It includes the updated DNB seat matrix, deemed university seat matrix, Central Internal Quota seat matrix and All India Quota seat matrix for eligible candidates.

NEET PG 2025 Tentative Exam Date
The National Medical Commission has announced June 15, 2025, as the tentative date for NEET PG.
Candidates must complete their mandatory internship requirements by July 31, 2025, to be eligible for the exam.

The National Medical Commission’s (NMC) Postgraduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) has announced the tentative date for the NEET PG 2025 examination- June 15, 2025
The PGMEB detailed key updates regarding the eligibility criteria and examination schedule in a letter addressed to the Deans and Principals of all medical colleges and universities under NMC, as well as the Registrars of health and medical universities.
The letter, states: “The internship completion date may be kept as July 31, 2025, and the tentative date to conduct NEET-PG 2025 examination will be June 15, 2025.”

Results Declaration: Anticipated in the 1st or 2nd week of July 2025.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Choice filling from Nov 18
UP NEET PG counselling 2024 round 1 schedule has been released. The window for students to enter the choice of courses and colleges will open on November 18. The last date to declare choices and lock them is November 25, 2024.

Counselling for UP NEET PG is conducted for 50 percent state quota seats in government medical/dental colleges and for seats in private colleges. There will be three rounds including a mop-up round. Seats left vacant after second round will be filled in the mop-up round. DMET conducts counselling for allocating 891 MD/MS/PG Diploma and 32 MDS seats under 50% state quota seats.
NExT Exam-2025: An overview
Introduction
The National Exit Test (NExT) is an important exam for medical graduates in India.

Exam pattern for NExT
Following is the summary of the exam pattern:
NExT Step 1
• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Multiple Choice (MCQs)
•Total Questions – 540.
•Subjects Covered – pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects
•Passing Criteria – a minimum of 50% marks.
The NExT 2025 question pattern for step 1 comprises six theoretical subjects divided into three parts.
Each part consists of two subjects with 120 marks and 60 marks respectively.

•A Practical/Clinical Exam.
•Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE), simulated cases/patients, and clinical case-based questions

Bihar NEET PG Counselling Dates 2024
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has again released the revised NEET PG 2024 information bulletin on its official website mcc.nic.in. This includes the counselling scheme, ALL India Quota (AIQ) policies, deemed university eligibility conditions, details for AFMS counselling, counselling registration process and result and admission details. Students who want to apply for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) MD/ MS/ or DNB seats across India can fill the application form by November 17, 2024.The choice-filling process for the eligible candidates has begun on November 8, 2024, onwards.
